Naturescapes –
How to create a natural Australian Garden.
Written by Phillip Withers and AB Bishop, with Photography by Amelia Stanwix.
This book celebrates the local landscape and the natural Australian Garden.

Overview
Together with habitat guru AB Bishop, and photography by Amelia Stanwix. We have developed a book documenting our experiences in how to create naturalistic Australian gardens
that supports and celebrates the local environment. Local and naturalistic gardens help plants, creatures and people thrive.

This is book shows how you can take inspiration from your favourite natural landscapes and create your own garden. With a detailed focus on plant selection, materials, habitats for wildlife, soil information, design and establishing environments.  Naturescapes looks to inform and inspire those wanting to learn more about their local landscape.

Naturescapes will be available here from July 25th.

Phillip Withers
Phil is the director of the Melbourne based landscape architecture and horticulture studio with a respect for and celebration of nature.

Phillip Withers has led the team to a series of Melbourne International Flower and Garden Shows, winning the city of Melbourne best in show in 2017. They have been invited to design gardens such as the Australian Garden Show, the Beijing landscape conference and the 10th China Flower Expo. Here they were awarded one of three master garden awards.

With a background in art and sustainability, Phillip brings a rich understanding of key design principles while utilising practical solutions for energy efficiency and considering the garden as a system. Phillip’s gardens feature both natural and curated architectural elements and a strong focus on divine and sensory plant selection.

AB Bishop
AB is a horticulturist, writer, and conservationist. She lives with her partner, Ray, in an environmental living zone where fauna and flora are protected.
